Ballet is a type of dance that combines grace, several techniques, and specific movements and gestures. Students learn ballet terminology and the pronunciation, meaning, and precise graceful body form and movement associated with each term. Emphasis on strengthening the legs and body core (the center or abdominals) as a strong core is required for many ballet movements (especially turns) and on developing flexibility and strengthening legs and feet. Our Ballet teaching method is based on The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), an English style that merges Italian, French, Danish, and Russian techniques.

The Tap dance has a particular tempo that the dancer attained from the small metal plates on their shoes. It is in this way that the dancer also becomes a percussive musician. Back in time, Tap dance came with the Scottish and Irish laborers but originated in the United States of America with the African slaves. They combined their dance with rhythmical tapping elements of the toes and heels and then created the American Tap. Besides the Irish Tap, here in the United States of America, we have several Tap; Freestyle, rhythm tap, classical tap, Broadway tap, and post-modern tap.
